Although I cannot post a picture this week, I did finish my bloom. It’s all washed and waiting for a bit of blocking and it’s ribbon. I should have it on its way to its recipient on Monday.
This week, I’m showing off my Seahawks Bunting. 🙂 I’ve kinda gotten into granny squares and buntings lately, like these at Yarndale. Aren’t they fun? I have been wanting to make seasonal decorations for my front door for a while. I made this one for the Fourth of July and kept using all summer. For Autumn, I already had a faux leaf garland that I really like, so, rather than crafting something “Autumnal,” I decided to show my love for my favorite football team. I didn’t use a pattern for the triangles. I sort of just guessed. I think it turned out pretty cute, though I think I’ll do fewer chain stitches between each triangle next time (I did 10).
Yarn: I Love This Yarn Solids (Hobby Lobby) in 90 Navy, 788 Limelight, and 10 White.
Hook: US-G (4.0 mm) for the triangles and US-H (5.0 mm) for the chainn.
That bunting is really effective, especially contrasting with the orange-brown leaves. Love it!
