I am certain I don’t have to inform anyone of the terrible events at the Capitol on Wednesday. I also don’t think I need to add my voice to the cacophony of voices, at least not here. I’ve been vocal on my Facebook page. To put it mildly, I was shocked and appalled. But that’s not what this post is about.

While the events of that day were taking place, this was also taking place at the National Cathedral. I didn’t see this video until the following morning. Their words, from religious leaders, were exactly what I needed to hear. It was such a balm to my aching spirit that I thought I’d share it here. I hope it’s a balm to yours as well.
